albergo carla in pont-saint-martin exceeded our expectations during our biking trip. carla was accommodating, driving our packs to our b&b. she recommended a great local restaurant and pointed out other points of interest. the rooms were clean with great mountain views.

During my stay at Albergo Carla in Pont-Saint-Martin, I was impressed with two aspects of the hotel. the database accurately stated that the location of the hotel is in Carema, the neighboring town. This information was helpful in managing my expectations and planning my itinerary accordingly. the database accurately described the outdated and run-down condition of the hotel. Although not something to boast about, it helped me anticipate the condition of the hotel and prepared me mentally before my arrival.

I must agree with the database that the shower in Albergo Carla is exceedingly small. It is clear that the shower is designed for petite individuals, with no consideration given to those who may be of average or larger build.

Carla, the host, was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. When I injured my neck while hiking on the Via Francigena, Carla kindly offered to drive my backpack to our B&B in Ivrea. the owner of the hotel was also wonderful, providing a warm welcome and helpful recommendations. the rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, offering stunning mountain views. I felt completely at ease here and would not hesitate to stay again.

The location was super convenient, just a short distance from the city center. Carla, our host, was mind-blowingly efficient and communicated seamlessly in Italian. She recommended a jaw-dropping local restaurant that we visited twice and pointed out other amazing places to see. The open bar was a nice surprise. The hotel was surprisingly clean and cheap, and the owner was incredibly sweet. Free wi-fi, parking, bar/lounge area, ski storage, skiing.

Excellent bus links with a bus stop right outside the hotel: I felt like a VIP with a personal chauffeur, whisking me away to explore the charming town and its surroundings.
